A Trip of a Lifetime

Karan finally got to take "Walk on the Great Wall of China" off her bucket list. We had a great trip and took over 500 pics you can see on photobucket.

What was I thinking

Got up and on the road at 4am, rode from Pahrump to Bodie and back, nice little 660 mile round trip. I should have put a few warmup rides under my belt instead of just going off cold. I learned I am outa shape for a long ride. With only 100 miles left to home the rear tire blistered/delamed on me, once it cooled down the thumping did go away, so I nursed it home at 50/55. Think I'll try going darkside with a Falken 195/55/r16 and see how I like it.

Toyhauler

Yup got a toyhauler. It's a Weekend Warrior we picked up in Stocton, Ca, 31 ft long, well taken care of. We have a few minor fix ups to do but not much.

March already

March has arrived, we've had much more gloomy weather and rain than normal, blame it on El Nino. We are now a two quad family as well as we have a p/u truck. I haven't owned a p/u for years, I like having a p/u, I guess a toy hauler is next, LOL.

Another month

Yup, it's another month gone by...Cuzn Helen and Bob have been in the area, weather has been real wet, sidewalk around house is put in and automatic drip lines for watering the trees are in. Vaughn, our grandson, is growing like a weed... ... Must be time to go riding.

New Year

Okay, finished last day of 2009 with a ride on the quad, went to the snowline at Mt Charleston, had a great day. Started the first day of 2010 with a ride on Smokin' with the Marine Riders of Las Vegas, Smokin' managed to do a wide open run, way fun!!! Now it's time to take down the holiday decorations.

Getting antsy to go

Either need to get the wing out or the quad, I think this staying home is making me ill.
